progress the week before Christmas, a selection of traditional Jewish folk dances will be presented. The evening will conclude with more caroling, led by Judy Bomberger, and an enactment of the Swedish celebration of Santa Lucia a tradition in which the eldest daughter of each family rises before the rest of the household to awaken the others on Christmas morning, dressed in white and crowned with a ring of seven lighted candles. Shandra Eldred will be performing thia special ritual for the community.
New Year’s
On New Year's Eve, Rappahannock will have the opportunity to join RAAC in its efforts to bring the Arts to the schools and the community. This year's annual New Year’s Eve Dinner, a RAAC Benefit Dance, will be held at the home of Clarissa and Eugene Leg
