Marine Private Michael Delgroeao, Private First Class John D. McKay, Private Paul J. Taylor, and Private Jeffrey T. Williams have al completed an 11-week training cycle. They were taught the basics of battlefield survival, and introduced to the typical daily routine they will experience during their enlistment. They also studied the personal and professional standards traditionally exhibited by Marines.

They participated in an active physical conditioning program, and gained proficiency in a variety of military skills including first aid, rifle marksmanship and dose order drilL Teamwork arid self-discipline were emphasized thoughout the training cyde.

Delgrosso is the son of1 Anthony Delgrosso of Route 1, Flint Hill; McKay is the son of John D. and Helen McKay of Route 1, Castleton; Taylor la the atm of Walter W. and Nancy W. Taylor of Route 1, Castleton; and Wiliams is the son of Doris S. and Thomas O. Williams, Sr. of Chester Gap. Afl were 1964 graduates of Rappahannock County High School.
