The Adminstrative Board of the Flint Hill United Methodist Church met on Monday evening, November 11, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Miller.

Among those present were M. H. Brady, Mr. and Mrs. Emory Russell, Mr. and Mrs. Mae Walker, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Duvoll, Mrs. Paul Miller, Rev. Merlin Shorb and Mrs. Barbara Gentry.

Among those from Flint Hill who attended the annual Home Extension Club Achievement Program held in Sperryville on Tuesday, November 18 were Ethel Pullen, Russie Miller, Elsie Dodson, Margaret Dodson, Flo Duvoll, Sandra Jenkins and Alice Pullen.

Slides were shown by Howard and Helen Holschuch, of their trip to Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia.

The Flint Hill Club won second place for their exhibit.

Roger Welch, of Mt. Airy, Md., was a Friday overnight guest of his mother, Mrs. Roland Welch at her home “Mountain View.”

Saturday visitors were Mr. and Mrs. Bill Welch and Billy, Dale Welch and Phil Lama. Visiting on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Williams and Mike Massie.

Tommy Lillard of Clayton, N.C., spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carson Lillard.

Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Butler and sons, of Front Royal, and Mr. and Mrs. Doug Bywaters and Jennifer Bywaters were Saturday dinner guests of Mrs. Wade Pullen.

Visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Nethers at Stephens City on Sunday afternoon were Heather Aylor, Helen Coffey, Mrs. Robert Nethers, Dorothy Lewis, Karen Corder and Charles Corder, Jr.

Mrs. Debbie Wimmer, of Front Royal, visited her mother, Mrs. Ethel Pullen on Sunday.

The Rev. and Mrs. Merlin Shorb entertained the Sperryville United Methodist Administrative Board at the parsonage on Friday evening. Those present were Mrs. Nina Brown, Mrs. Emma Swindler, Mrs. Paula Klatko, Mrs. Polly Aylor, Hugh Chrisman and Julian Brown.
