Parent-teacher Association to meet The Rappahannock County Elementary School Parent-Teacher Association will be meeting on Tuesday, December 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the school library. All parents and teachers are urged to attend. Babysitting will be provided. Business Council to meet The Washington Business council will meet on Thursday, December 5 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Brambles. Several projects of interest from businesses in town will be discussed.
Membership is open to all business owners in town.
No-tillage practice A program entitled, No-tillage: A Best Management Practice, will be held at the Maryland State Fairgrounds, Timonium, Md. on Dec. 18. There will be a fee of $3 for lunch. Call the Extension Office by Nov. 25 to register.
Stained glass workshop There will be a stained glass workshop on Nov. 26 at 8 p.m. at the ' Rappahannock County Library led by Michael Fulton of Warrenton’s Lumiere, a glass art studio. There will be a slide show illustrating the history of stained glass, a description of the craft and a group hands on experience to make a stained glass design that will be raffled off as a I door prize to the participants.
