holiday closings
The following businesses and county offices will be closed next week due to the Thanksgiving holiday:
Rapppahannock County schools will be closed on Thursday and Friday
Rappahannock County government offices will be closed Thursday and Friday, as will the county’s Social Services Department.
Family Guidance Services of Rappahannock will be closed Thursday and Friday. In case of emergency, clinic staff may be reached by calling 675-3329.
The Rappahannock County Library will be closed on Thursday.
The Rappahannock National Bank in Washington and the Farmers and Merchants National Bank in Flint Hill will be closed Thursday.
The news and business offices of the Rappahannock Newt will be closed Thursday, but will open for regular business hours on Friday.
The news deadline is noon Monday, as is the deadline for display and classified advertising.
Advertising for the horse and farm directory is noon on Nov. 22, as is the deadline for combo real estate advertising.
