The Rappahannock County Library has been notified by the National Endowment for the :v Humanities that it is one of ten Vir’•'ginia libraries chosen to participate in the third, “Southern Reflections” book series during the spring of 1986.
Titled “Changing Voices: The Southern Literary Renaissance,” the lecture/discussions are scheduled for Mondays at 7:30 p.m.
March 3: Keynote Address
March 17: Sartoris by William Faulkner
March 24: Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston
April 4: The Golden Apples by Eudora Welty
April 21: All the King's Men by Robert Penn Warren.
The programs are free and open to the public. Persons who would like to help with the planning sessions, publicity, mailings, book sales, or hospitality are asked to telephone the Library at 675-3780.
