To the editor:
I thank the staff of the Rappahannock news for their thorough and positive coverage of our efforts to survey RCHS grads. It appears there is tremendous interest in the “Homecoming” we have planned for Saturday, December 21st, at the school.
1 do need to emphasize that all Rappahannock County grads of RCHS, Sperryville High, Washington High, Carver High are welcome at this “Homecoming.” Our records of graduates’ names and last known addresses for 1969-1985 are pretty complete. Persons’ who have graduated prior to 1969 need to call RCHS secretary Linda Gray at 9878575 if they wish to receive a survey . through the mail. Or, they may pick up a survey from Hackley’s Store, Bradford’s Store, Sperryville Corner Store, or the Washington Cash Store.
The homecoming on December 21st will consist of a Ladies Alumnae Basketball game (if there’s sufficient interest) at 7:00, and one or more Men’s Alumni Basketball games starting at 8:00 p.m. Any Rappahannock County grad who wishes to play in these games may do so. In case of an overflow crowd, provisions will be made for one or more concurrent video-tape showings in other parts of the building.
