Dr. Stephen A. Reiter, M.D. and his family moved to Madison County five weeks ago because he wanted to live in this area. “Then I looked around for a position in my field that I would ei\joy,” Dr. Reiter said.
He found the position of psychiatrist with Rappahannock- Rapidan Community Services Center and for the past four weeks has been providing psychiatric services at Family Guidance Services of Rappahannock.
Dr. Reiter is in his office in Rappahannock every Wednesday morning from 8:30-12. He said he primarily is responsible for medication management of patients involved with psycho-therapy.
Dr. Reiter received his medical degree from University of Illinois College of Medicine. After completing a year of rotating internship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Lbs Angeles, Calif., he did his residency in psychiatry at Michael Reese Hospital.
