Christmas Greens Sale 'The Rappahannock County Garden Club is planning its fifteenth Annual Greens sale. This year’s Chairpeople are Mrs. Douglas Fairfax, Mrs. Andrew Pennington, and Mrs. H.W. Peterson. Members will make wreaths, garlands, and swags. Orders are now being taken by Mrs. C.E. Johnson, Jr. 987-8300, Mrs. Sidney Mank, 675-3244, and Mrs. Thomas Pillar, 987-8943. The deadline for orders is Saturday, December 7th.
66Winterizing your horse” Veterinarian Dr. Cathy Smith will speak to the Heads Up! 4-H Club on Friday, November 22 at 7:30 p.m. at the Culpeper Extension Office. The meeting is open to children interested in horses and community service and who reside in Rappahannock, Fauquier, Culpeper or Madison counties. “Winterizing your horse” will be the topic of Dr. Smith’s discussion.

Childbirth with Preparation A series of seven weekly classes to help couples prepare for birth, will be offered by Diane Wood, C.C.I., beginning on Tuesday, November 26, at 7:00 p.m. Couples will learn Lamaze techniques of breathing and relaxing, and will also receive information on nutrition, the mechanism of labor, breast-feeding and the newborn. Pesticide Recertification The Extension Service will be having a Pesticide Recertification on Friday, December 13th, at the Rappahannock Courthouse, beginning at 1:30 p.m. Persons whose pesticide license expires in Dec., 1985, are urged to attend this session. The main certification test may be taken again by persons missing the session.
4-H Christmas Open House The date for the Northern Virginia 4-H Educational Center Christmas Open House has been set for December 8,1985,1:30 — 5:00 p.m. The Open House was moved to a Sunday afternoon to encourage family visits, especially the families of young people who participate! in the 4-H programs.
Lion’s Club to meet The Rappahannock Lion’s Club will meet on Nov. 27 at 7 p.m. at the Comer Post Restaurant in Flint Hill.
Woman’s club to meet The Rappahannock Woman’s club will meet on Nov. 28 at 8 p.m. in the home of Betty Settle in Washington. Eva Stephenson, of Sperryville, will demonstrate basket making. All members are urged to attend.
Lord Fairfax Christmas Bazaar Lord Fairfax Community College student organizations will hold a Christmas Bazaar on Sunday, December 1, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the College Conference Center. Alcohol Safety report Delegate Raymond R. “Andy” Guest, Jr. (R-Warren) has received a copy of the Tenth Annual Report for the Virginia Alcohol Safety Action Program. This report is available for inspection in Delegate Guest’s Legislative Office located at 27 South Royal Avenue in Front Royal.
