Warren Presgraves
Warren Ashby Presgraves, 78, of Flint Hill, died Wednesday at Shawnee Springs Nursing Home, Winchester.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday at Turner- Robertshaw Funeral Home, Front Royal, by the Rev. Jerry Young. Burial was at Flint Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Presgraves was bom Sept. 2, 1907, in Rappahannock County, son of the late Robert and Sally Corbin Presgraves. He was a World War II Army veteran and a retired timberman.
Surviving are his wife, Irene B. Presgraves; a son, Richard Belch of Baltimore; three stepsons, Denny Nutter of Annapolis, Md., Edward Nutten of Warren, Ohio, and James Nutter of Florida; six stepdaughters, Joann Wilcox and Dianne Hornbacker, both of Colorado, Helen Baynes of Vienna, Barbara Hyden of Hollywood, Md., Faye Lennox and Jov Hoag, both of Chestertown, Md.; two brothers, Charlie Presgraves of Bentonville and John Presgraves of Radford; a sister, Bertha Seal of Bentonville; 47 grandchildren; and 11 stepgreatgrandchildren.
Pallbearers were members of the American Legion Giles B. Post 53 of Front Royal.
