Mrs. Mattie Clark, mother of Mrs. Rosie Payne was 100 years old on November 19th. She is residing with Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Giles in Warrenton. Friends and relatives gathered at the Giles home on Sunday for the birthday celebration.
Mrs. Clark received cards from President Reagan, Chuck Robb and John Warner besides her relatives and friends. On Tuesday morning Willard Scott of NBC Today Show extended congratulations to Mrs. Clark. We all extend Happy Birthday wishes to Mrs. Clark and may God bless you.
