Mrs. Frances Eubank and son John enjoyed lunch at Brambles in town on Wednesday.
Mrs. Sarah Brown and daughter Amanda, were luncheon guests of Mrs. Vickie Beatty and son Randy on Monday at Point of Woods, Front Royal.
Ned Jones and children, Kristin and Will were in town Sunday and attended the christening of the Doug Baumgarden’s baby.
Danny and Bonnie Sue Baldwin, of Sperryville, were given a household shower by Eva Dodson and Wanda Jenkins, of Sperryville, and Dot Campbell of Amissville on Sunday evening at the Washington Fire Hall.
The Baldwin’s house and belongings were recently destroyed by fire. The shower was attended by approximately 40 friends and relatives from Sperryville, Flint Hill, Culpeper, Manassas and Washington. The hostesses would like to express their appreciation for all who helped with the affair.
Monday luncheon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Campbell were Mr. and Mrs. Steve Lockhart, of Front Royal.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Faulkner, of Orange, were Sunday visitors of M rs. Faulkner’s grandmother, Mrs. Mattie Ball Fletcher.
\Edward and Ruth Clark entertained with a birthday dinner for their grandson, Richie Eastham on Thursday night. Guests were John and Corrine Eastham, of Front Royal, Carl Grohs, Chuck Laramier, Robin Jones and Suzie Laramier, of Amissville, Robert L. Frazier, Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Brown and Amanda, Richard and Ann Simmons and Edie Eastham.
Mrs. Henry M. Keyser was in Clifton recently and attended the marriage of her grandson, Scott Keyser and Arlette Robison which took place on November 9th.
Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Burham, of Lynnfield, Mass, were weekend guests of Mrs. Henry M. Keyser.

Dawn and Brad Fisher spent November 4th through 12th in Madrid, Spain, as part of the intercultural experience of the Youth for Understanding exchange program. While there they met with the Y.F.U. and main staff and visited the historic city of Loledo as well as the Royal Palace, the F*rado Art Museum, the Escorial Monastery and the beautiful basilica under the mountain at the Valley of the Fallen.
