Do you want help in starting a home-based business or in deciding whether to become an entrepreneur? If so, plan now to attend the Northern Virginia Home-Based Business Conference on March 2122, 1986 at the Northern Virginia 4H Educational Center, sponsored by the Cooperative Extension Service.
The conference will feature speakers addressing multiple topics necessary for people interested in starting a business in their home. Included topics are: developing a business plan, marketing your business, legal aspects, record keeping and taxes, determining prices, and resources to help.
A special feature of the conference is Friday’s Home-Based Business Fair at which successful entrepreneurs will display their products and share helpful tips in setting up and running a homebased business. Persons can attend the fair without participating in the conference, but an admission of $3 will be collected.
The registration fee of $20.00 for an individual or $25.00 for a couple (family members or business partner) includes a packet of educational materials, instruction, refreshment breaks, and Saturday lunch.
