Telaco, Inc. announced today that it plans to sell HBO and Cinemax programming services to owners of home satellite systems (home TVR08) residing in Rappahannock and Warren Counties within the system's franchise areas. Telaco will offer home TVRO owners HBO and Cinemax for $10.00 a month for either service or $16.50 a month for both services and will arrange for activation of the M/A-Com VideoCipher descrambler, which makes these home TVRO subscriptions possible.

Home TVRO owners can obtain the M/A-Com VideoCipher descrambler through local home satellite system equipment dealers. .

"Telaco is very pleased to be able to provide home earth station owners the opportunity to subscribe to HBO and Cinemax,” said Richard Burke. “With a method in place to distribute descramblers and a subscription plan now in effect, we believe backyard dish owners can now be served efficiently.”

Telaco has set up the following telephone number to take home TVRO orders for HBO and Cinemax, 635-5338. This number is for activation and subscription of HBO and Cinemax, not for the sale of VideoCipher equipment. Other TVRO services will be marketed as they become available.
