sal of septic tank waste passed the House of Delegates last week and is on its way to the governor, since the Senate agreed with House amendments.
One of the bills, introduced by Sen. Madison E. Marye (D-Montgomery), would allow disposal of septic waste on farm fields through 1991 (with board of supervisors and health department approval) in order to give localities time to find better ways of disposing of it.
The other bill would require that new sewage treatment plants be build with the capability of handling the septic waste, dubbed septage by state regulations.
