Mrs. T. J. Pillar was hostess to the Sperryville Bridge Club at her home on Friday night.

Guests were Mrs. Frances Tabler, Mrs. Roy L. Reeve, Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Jr., Mrs. Mary Quaintance, Mrs. Dale Metzinger, Mre- W. H. Cordle, Mrs. Brown Miller and Mrs. Jack Brown.

Prize winners were Mrs. Tabler, Mrs. Quaintance and Mrs. Brown.

Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. T. M. Johnston were Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Reams and sons, Brad and Morgan, of Winchester, Mrs. Andrew Meade and children, Bethany and Broocks, of Charlottesville. It was a celebration of Brad Reams’ 10th birthday.

Mrs. Julia Wood and Mrs. Mary Quaintance visited Mr. and Mrs. Kent Pierce in Culpeper Sunday afternoon. Mr. Pierce entered Prince William Hospital, Manassas, on Tuesday.

Mrs. Charles K. Estes, Mrs. Nelson Nethers, Mrs. Lee Swindler, Mrs. Roy Swindler and Mrs. Catherine Lillard visited Mrs. Virginia Lewis last Wednesday in the Grandview Rest Home in Bentonville.

Mrs. Mary Quaintance, Mrs. T. M. Johnston and Mrs. Brown Miller with the Rev. and Mrs. Douglas Farmer of Haywood attended the Taylor — Sherman wedding at The Lee House in Alexandria on Saturday evening. The Rev. Mr. Farmer performed the ceremony.

Mrs. Catherine Trescott returned home Monday from Culpeper Memorial Hospital.

The Rev. Hoover Heflin was a Saturday visitor of Mrs. Early Sisk.
