U.S. Airman Harvey W. Jenkins has left for the Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota after a 10-day furlough here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Huffman. He was stationed at a base in Texas.
Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Jewell have returned home after a two week visit in Huntington Beach, Calif, with Mr. and Mrs. Gene McGarrity and while there they toured San Simeon, Capistrano, Hollywood, the Getty Museum and other points.
Sunday past Mr. and Mrs. Jewell visited his sister, Mrs. Bertha Morris in Luray.
Mr. and Mrs. David Sisk and son were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hickerson in Flint Hill.
Ms. Donna Brown was a Sunday guest of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Atkins in Sperryville.
Mrs. Bessie Corbin was a Friday overnight guest of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Burke in Rochelle.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Baggan, who recently moved here to Round Hill Farm entertained Mr. and Mrs. Paul Wehr and son, Christopher of Camillus, New York, last weekend, as they were returning home from a nine day vacation in the south and also stopping over to visit other family members, the Michael May family in Atlanta, Georgia.
After leaving Round Hill, they planned to visit Mr. and Mrs. Walter May in Saegertown, Pa. before returning to New York.
Robert Thornhill of Vienna was a Saturday overnight guest of his mother, Mrs. Cary Thornhill, whose additional guests on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Thornhill of Culpeper and Winfrey Thornhill of Nokesville. In the evening Mrs. Thornhill called on Mr. and Mrs. Frank Duncan.
