Bobbie Jolene Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Brown and sister of Amanda Rae Brown, was dedicated Sunday at the Washington Baptist Church bv Rev. Steve Scoggin. Godparents were Edna Kay (Edie) Eastham and John R. (Richie) Eastham Jr; The little girl is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Brown of Woodville and Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Clark, and the great-granddaughter of Mrs. Louise Alther of Sperryville, Mrs. Chloe Brown of Woodville and Robert L. Frazier. The Browns entertained family and friends at a reception Sunday afternoon.

Mrs. Shirley Farmer was a weekend guest at the Ruth and Ed Smith farm in Madison County.

Rob Reeve was an overnight guest Friday of his grandmother Mrs. Alice R. Wood. Visiting Mrs. Wood Sunday afternoon were Mrs. Lillian Kendrick, Mrs. Erna Brown and Mrs. Gladys Bowie of Culpeper. Mrs. Wood’s granddaughters Misses
