Mrs. Linda Pierpoint and Ned Jr. of Alexandria spent Saturday and Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Lillard. Joining them Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Grant Patton and girls of Stephens City.

Visiting Mrs. Robert Nethers Sunday were Mrs. .Dorothy Lewis, Mrs. Polly Aylor, Heather Aylor and Karen Corder.

Memorial service

for Mr. Rector

A mass in memory of Raymond Lyle Rector, a lifelong Fauquier County resident who died at his home at Conde in August, will be offered in the Austrian city of St. Leonardam Forst, on Thursday, Oct: 9, at 7 p.m. local time, 1 p.m. Eastern time.

Leopold Steindl, a long-time friend of the Rector family, wrote to Mrs. Rector and “invited friends and family to be with us in thought” during the half-hour Roman Catholic memorial service.
