In loving memory of my mother, Jacquelyn Roberta Holland, who died September 30,1984. It's been two years since God saw fit to call you home. You’re still alive within my heart, though I sometimes feel alone. Without you here to talk to and to show you all my love. I know you're free from suffering now with God in heaven above. I miss you! Oh! How I miss you! And sometimes in the night, I wake up crying for you and cry til dawn’s gray light. The day that you were buried, I could hear my own heart pound, And thought I couldn't stand it, when they laid you 'neath the ground. I know now that you're in heaven, free from all your hurt and pain. And some day when my life is ore, I'll be with you again.
I love you Mom,
Lisa Burke
