man was the son of the late Julius and Emily Braun Ashman. He was a retired federal government employee and had lived in Woodville for only a short time.
He is survived by his wife Eva Ashman of Woodville and a son Geoffrey H. Ashman of Miami, Fla.
Graveside services were conducted October 1 at the Woodville Cemetery by the Rev. Jennings Hobson.
John H. Hamilton Jr.
John Henry Hamilton Jr., 72, of Washington, D. C., died August 16 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Martinsburg.
Mr. Hamilton was born April 11, 1914, in Edgefield, S. C., the son of the late John Henry Hamilton Sr. and Alice Venoila Doggett.
He is survived by a daughter J. Arthelia Hamilton of Tacoma, Wash., a son Dr. James G. Hamilton of East Hartford, Conn., two sisters, Mrs. Bernice H. Landrum and Mrs. Alice H. Barbour, both of Washington, D. C., and two brothers, Anthony Hamilton of Washington, D. C., and Freddie Hamilton of Greenbelt, Md.
Funeral services were conducted August 20 at Joynes Funeral Home, Warrenton, by Rev. Dr. Charles L. Bennett,, pastor of the Gethsemane
