Mrs. Charles Burke accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Trenton Burke and Mrs. Janie Burke of Culpeper to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Asa Burke in Front Royal Sunday for a birthday celebration in honor of Cletus Burke.

Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Campbell were among the guests at a going away party Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Campbell in honor of their son Chris, who left for the U.S. Army on Wednesday. Chris is the Campbells’ grandson.

Harry Deal of Culpeper was a guest of Leonard Campbell for supper Wednesday.
