1 fiG United Methodist Women met Monday at the home of Mrs. Linda Miller, who presented an interesting program on her trip to Haiti, where she did missionary work in 1979.

Members present were Flo Duvall, Mabel Lillard, Russie Miller Peggy Russell, Barbara Gentry! Louise McCulloch, Mary Curtis! Margaret Eastham, Joann Welch, Alice Pullen, Mary Frances Bywaters and J anet E astham.

Curtis Vest of Virginia Beach was a luncheon guest Saturday of his grandmother, Mrs. Christine Vest.

Mr. and Mrs. Odie Herndon and boys of Herndon were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Bunny Hudson and Kathy. Steve Lillard of Amissville visited the Hudsons Saturday.

David Lillard of Marshall spent Sunday with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Carson Lillard.

Mrs. Barbara Gentry, Mrs. Roberta Spalding, Misses Elsie and Margaret Dodson attended the Retired Teachers District N meeting at Leesburg Tuesday.

The United Methodist Church held homecoming Sunday with guest speaker Rev. Claude Cook of Culpeper. After the service the group met at the fire hall where they enjoyed dinner and fellowship.

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Crane of Lanham, Md., spent the weekend with Mrs. Crane’s mother, Mrs. Moffett Brady.

Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hickerson Saturday were Mrs. Linda Pierpoint and children of Alexandria and Clyde Lillard.

Mrs. Robert Nethers with Mrs. Helen Coffey, Heather Aylor and Mrs. Polly Aylor spent Saturday in Stephens City with Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Nethers.

Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Hawkins of Arlington visited Mrs. Hawkins’ parents Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Lillard Sunday.
