Participating students must su£ mit their artwork to one of the four Congressional district offices by Thursday, Jan. 7. Students who art' interested in the competition shouldcontact their local high school art teacher or one of the Congressional district offices for more information.
After the artwork is judged in January, it will be displayed for a few weeks at the Carriage Lane Gal*, lery in Culpeper. Mr. Slaughter noted that in addition to being, shown at the gallery, the Seventy District Congressional Art Exhibit, will be displayed at the historic homes of James Monroe, Ash LawnHighland, near Charlottesville. Ttyp winning entry will then be exhibited at the U.S. Capitol in Washington. ,,
