Boy Scout Troop 123 of
Washington will hold a Christmas sale on the weekends of Dec. 10 and 17 at Trinity Epis. copal Church in Washington. Scouts will be there from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both Saturdays and from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sundays, selling Christmas trees, baked goods and tree ornaments.
Leonard Edwards of Woodville bagged a big buck last week with a rifle in that area. The antlers spanned more than 21 inches. While hunting Edwards also found a pair of perfect antlers lying on the ground in the woods.

Bill Payne of Amissville has
been elected to serve as assistant to the first vice-president as well as showgrounds chairman of the Virginia State Appaloosa Horse Association. Payne with his wife Mauri runs Rock Bottom Appaloosa Farm on Route 729.
Kristie Johnson, senior at Rappahannock County High School, has been selected for the DAR “Good Citizen” award, sponsored by the local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Culpeper Minutemen.
