INVITATION TO BID

The Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors hereby invites interested contractors to submit bids to provide all labor and materials for the provision of handicapped access to the Rappahannock County Courthouse in accordance with drawings and specifications which are available in the Building, Zoning and Administration Office of Rappahannock County, Washington, Va. from 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., Monday through Friday. The bidding procedures for competitive sealed bidding provided by the Virginia Public Procurement Act, Section 11-37 et seq of the Code of Virginia, shall apply.

The County reserves the right to have its architect inspect any portion of the construction project, to assure compliance wjth specifications. Sealed bids should be submitted to the Administrative Assistant of the Rappahannock County'Board of Supervisors, at P.O. Box 222, Washington, Virginia, 22747, so to be received by him no later than 3:00 P.M. on Friday, December 4, 1987, at which time bids will be opened and publicly read. To be acceptable a bid must state a fixed price, must contain the name, address and telephone number of the bidder, and must be signed by the bidder. The winning bidder will be expected to sign a standard A.I.A. or similar contract with the County of Rappahannock. Applicable provisions of the Virginia Public Procurement Act will be included in said contract.

Rappahannock County reserves a right to reject any, or all, bids.
