“But people would ask where I got the beautiful things I wore," she said, indicating her necklace and earrings. The jewelry and beaded clothing she often wore attracted people’s attention.

“I didn’t know if it was going to work,” she remembered with a smile, thinking of her own hesitation about the venture. “But, I started to look around for the perfect spot. ”
