Horse race
postponed
The snow that fell last Friday morning temporarily, turned the county into a winter wonderland. Four inches of powdery snow coated the landscape and provided postcard views from every hilltop.
Unfortunately the same four inches of snow covered the race course at Thornton Hill Farm and left the Rappahannock Hunt with no choice but to postpone the annual Point-to Point races.
The races have been rescheduled for Sunday, March 28, when the grass will be greener and the scents of Spring will waft across the hills.
