MEET AND HEAR WILLIAM WADE: Superintendent ol the Shenandoah National Park. Mr. Wade will speak on Shenandoah National Park management issues, specificaly the budget crisis and 1993 cutbacks. SANDY RIVES: Management Assistant. Mr. Rives will speak on The Related Land Study recently completed in Albermarle and Rockingham counties. JULIE THOMAS: Air Quality Specialist. Ms. Thomas will speak on Shenandoah air quality concerns—ozone, acid rain, visibility and long term air concerns over the park. THE SHENANDOAH NATIONAL PARK MANAGEMENT STAFF will be available to discuss ‘WILDLIFE* and long term monitoring issues. DAVID CARR: Public Lands Project Director ol the Southern Environment Law Center. Mr. Carr will speak on the environmental community's effort to improve air quality at the Shenandoah National Park. DAVE SIMON: Co-Chairman ol the Shenandoah Coalition and Natural Resources Program Manager ol the National Parks and Conservation Association. Mr. Simon will address Shenandoah National park issues in context ol the whole national park system. He will also have an exhibit booth on the Shenandoah National Park which has been described as one ol the most threatened national parks in the country.
