Barbara Gentry, 675-3202, will take orders at the Senior Citizens Nutrition Site and Maybelle Gilkey, 635-5472, will take orders in Chester Gap. Payment of the $13 needs to be in cash or food stamps. At registration, participants will be given a community service voucher to complete and turn in on D-Day (Delivery Day).
The March Delivery Day is set for 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, March 27, at Washington Baptist Church. All participants should pick up their groceries at this time.
Ms. Bridget also stated that donations of not more than $1 will be appreciated on Delivery Day to defer the cost of gas for the two men who drive each month to pick up the. groceries.
