Surviving are a son, Gene Wince of White Post; five brothers, William Wince and George Wince, both of Delaplane, Daniel Wince of Roanoke, Warren Wince of Piney Point, Md., and Robert Wince of Flint Hill and two sisters, Mattie Rutherford of Delaplane and Lucy Surface of Broad Run.
Arrangements were handled by the Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal.
Clyde Jenkins
Mr. Clyde Palmer Jenkins, 65, of Fredericksburg died on March 1, at his residence.
Mr. Jenkins was bom in Woodville on March 18, 1927, the son of the late James Wesley Jenkins and Elizabeth Deal Jenkins.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, and an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sandra Kay Jenkins, two daughters, Linda Koester of Manassas, and Brenda Jenkins of Davison, Mi. and a son. Can Jenkins of Weisbadan, Germany.
He is also survived by three stepdaughters, Aice Conklin of Florida, NY, Sharon Barker of Hartwood, VA., Karen Kessler of Fredericksburg and two step-sons, Charles Blow of Florida, NY and Paul Blow Jr. of Fredericksburg.
Additional survivors include two sister, Mrs. Janiee Tuel of Charlottesville and Mrs. Lena Elliott of Culpeper; eight grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, James Thomas Jenkins, Edgar Louis Jenkins, Richard Kelsey Jenkins and four sisters, Lillie Martin, Bertha Catherine Westmoreland, Rosa Anna Huffman and Eva Frances Jenkins.
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, March 3, at 1 p.m. at Found and Sons Chapel with the Rev. James Stone officiating.
Interment will be in the Culpeper National Cemetery with military honors.
