pending birth of their first greatgrandchild, due in June. Billy’s not so sure he’ll still be here to welcome the new baby; however, he and hip grandson - the expectant father, have made an agreement he hopes to honor.
Billy is still living each day looking forward to tomorrow. He and May credit the Hospice of the Rapidan for much of their being able to continue in this way.
“They’ve answered everything we’ve ever asked", said Billy, “I look forward to their visits; it’s a real treat.”
As the ladies head toward the door, Billy Camper, his walker left on the back wall, rises out of his chair and carefully walks them to the door. They warmly say good-bye tQ one another and speak of the next visit. Any, naturally, Billy leaves them with his remarkable smile. ‘
