Helen Stringfellow
Helen Mae Stringfellow, 72, of Amissville died Feb. 24 at Fauqier Hospital in Warrenton.
She was bom in Virginia on March 19,1920.
Mrs. Stringfellow was a housewife.
She is survived by three daughters Virginia Wharton and Peggy Griffith, both of Amissville and Dorothy Rubalcava of Fredericksburg; three sister Ruth Glascock of Amissville, Lillian Stringfellow and Ella Stringfellow both of Culpeper; two brothers Thomas Stringfellow of Winchester and Charles Stringfellow of Culpeper, five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services were held Feb. 27 at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton. Interment was at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Jefferston with the Rev. Tom Everett officating.
John Ferris
John Ferris, 89, of Orange died Feb. 27 at Orange County Nursing Home.
He was born Nov. 6, 1903 in Belfast, Ireland.
Mr. Ferris is survived by one daughter Susan F. Achenbach of Flint Hill; one son Jack Ferris of Littleton, Colorado; two brother Stanley R. Ferris of Carmichael, California and James Ferris of Surf Side Beach, South Carolina and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private.
Preddy Funeral Home in Orange is in charge of the arrangements.
Clarence Wince
Clarence Ashby Wince, 74, of White Post died Feb. 25 at his home.
, A graveside service was conducted March 1 in the Wince family burial ground near Orlean by the Rev. Jerry Young.
Mr. Wince was bom March 2, 1918 in Rappahannock County, son of the late Daniel and Ada Rutherford Wince.
He had been employed by O’Sullivan Corporation and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Rivermont
