It affects the way you eat and sleep, the way you feel about yourself, and the way you think about things.
On Tuesday, March 9, at 7 p.m. Culpeper Memorial Hospital will sponsor a free "health forum for the community on depression. The program will take place in the board room of the hospital.
Presented by Dr. Darren Meyer, Culpeper psychiatrist, the program will explain what depression is, how you get it, the signs and symptoms of depression, and current treatment plans and recommendations.
“Ten percent of the population will experience depression sometime in their life or know of someone who experiences it. It’s that common," explained Dr. Meyer.
