The 50th anniversary of the partnership of Rodgers and Hammerstein will be celebrated in a concert at The Theatre at Washington on Saturday, March 13, at 8 p.m. The concert is part of the continuing “Smithsonian at Little Washington” series held at The Theatre.

The concert will include a number of well-remembered songs from Rodgers and Hammerstein’s bestloved stage works, including “Oklahoma!” “Carousel,” “South Pacific," ‘The King and I, ” and “The Sound of Music,” as well as rediscoveries from their less well-known musicals “Allegro,” “Pipe Dream,” “Me and Juliet,” and “Flower Drum Song.”
