The cattle at Ginger Hill are managed under practical conditions using feeds produced on the farm.
Newbill Miller is a leader, having served as director and president of the Virginia Beef Cattle Improvement Association and director and president of the Virginia Angus Association.
He has been in demand as a speaker for state and -national programs.
Mr. Miller was also awarded the Virginia seedstock producer of the year award in 1985.
