General Assembly Hotline
The General Assembly has established a Constituted Services Hotline so citizens can offer their views toll-free to their representatives while the General Assembly is in session.
The number for the Hotline is 1-800889-0229.
Hotline operators will receive calls from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. each legislative work day through March 12.
Callers should be prepared to name the representative(s) they want their message forwarded to.
Events Rescheduled
The frequently rescheduled workshop on college financial aid for this year’s high school seniors and their parents will be held Thursday in the high school library in conjunction with parent/teacher conferences.
The program at the library with former NEA director John Frohnmeyer has been rescheduled for March 27.
RAAC On Tour
There is still time to make a reservation for the RAAC museum and theatre trip to Washington, D.C. Tickets for the trip are $36, and a minimum of 30 participants is required by March 1. For information call Rage Smith at 987-9158.
