mile course began in Stephens City and ended in downtown Front Royal. Based on suggestions from 1993 race participants, the length of the 1994 amateur race course will more than double.
Also back for 1994 will be the Tour DuMain and Tour DuFun. The Tour DuFun is a non-cycling event in which invited participants, including community and business leaders, race for excellence on human-powered non-bicycles. The Tour DuFun will give children in grades kindergarten through four the chance to participate in a bicycle relay race.
A 4-H bicycle safety program is planned, as well as other events or activities to promote cycling safety.
