Last summer, Ki began to develop a theatre arts program for teenagers in our community. As we all know, too many of our teenagers feel like displaced persons, particularly in the summer months. “What is there to do around here?” Is the oft-heard lament. Ki now offers those teenagers an involving, rewarding discipline that can be the hub of a constructive and exciting summer. - , 5M i
And, this comming April 8 and 9, Ki Theatre hopes to showcase this most glorious mishmash Rappahannock County has seen in a long time. Members of the community, young and old, professional and amateur, will be in “Open Theatre,” for two evenings of short pieces: comedy, pathos, monologues, scenes from plays, improvisations, mini-musicals, puppets, children’s stories and skit8-you name it, you’ll get it.
