Her brother, Ira Jenkins of Ohio, preceded her in death.
Survivors include a sister Georgie Vaughn, who currently resides in Alexandria; two daughters, Hilda Metzgar of Lorton and Pauline Hershey Suk of Lancaster, Pa.; three sons, Charles Cletus Burke of Front Royal, Jennings G. Burke of Woodbridge and Ashton W. Burke of Warrenton; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Viewing was at the Washington Baptist Church on Tuesday evening, Feb. 15 and the funeral was as the same church at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 16.

Richard Gore Sr.
“Duck” Richard Franklin Gore Sr., 81, of Castleton died Saturday, Feb. 12 at the Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
A native of Rappahannock County, he was bom to the late Columbus and Besie Gooch Gore.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Becky Gore; one daughter, Ellen Gore of College Station, Tx., and one son, Rick Gore of Manassas.
He is also survived by one sister, Marie Utz of Castleton and two brothers, Eddy Gore of Warrenton and Ennis Gore of Orange.
Additional survivors include two grandchildren, Margot A. Gore and Janel L. Gore.
Mr. Gore was a World War II Veteran, serving in the Army. He faught at the battle of The Buldge and on Omaha Beach D-Day. He received many awards, one beine the
