For many years, March has brought a familiar sight to Rappahannock County the brightly colored Mobile Sight and Hearing Screening Van operated by the Lions Club of Virginia.
The mobile unit provides vision and hearing tests to all school children in the county. All testing is free. The van is equipped with a sound-proof booth for testing hearing and also includes the latest available vision-testing equipment. The unit is staffed by experienced volunteers from the Rappahannock Lions Club.
