Members of the Meji’s Brotherhood of the Washington Baptist Church in cooperation with the Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board built an outhouse for Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jenkins near Flint Hill.
Mr. Jenkins is 89 years old, and he and his family were walking out into the orchard to go to the bathroom. His old outhouse had filled up and the lumber rotted, so he tore it down. He said the old outhouse lasted him and his family 25 years.
Material for the outhouse was donated by Telemann and purchased at Cherry Street Building Supply in Culpeper. The plans , came from Jim Marangoni and Bill Welch.
