Adult Education Classes Set Free adult education classes meet from 7-9 p.m. Monday and Wednesday evenings in the basement of the Rappahannock County Public Library. Because all study is individual, persons may join the class at any time. The staff requests that new students come for the first time on Wednesdays because there are more volunteers to help with intake on that evening. Culture Day Festival Set The Culpeper Branch NAACP will be sponsoring its fourth annual African American Culture Day Festival from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Sept. 9. Rain Date is Sept. 16. There will be entertainment, storytelling, food, gospel singing, and much more. Everyone is invited. The event will be held on East and West Davis Streets.

CSC Will Not Operate CSC Transit will not operate on Monday, Sept. 4 in observance of Labor Day. CSC Transit is a program of the Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board.
Hospice Training Scheduled Hospice of the Rapidan is recruiting volunteers for training that begins in early September. Hospice training prepares volunteers for vital work with terminally ill people in Rappahannock County and other counties in the PD 9 area.
