Newlin
Promoted Sgt. ^arry A. Newlin of the Virginia State Police was promoted to First Sergeant for the Area 12 office which includes Rappahannock and Fauquier counties. The promotion is effective Sept. 1. Sgt. Newlin worked as a state trooper in Rappahannock County from April 1997 through June 1991. In 1991 he was promoted to sergeant and stationed in Louisa County. In September of 1994 he returned to Rappahannock County to work out of the Warrenton office.
