In response to Mr. Frazier’s Letter to the Editor in last week’s Rappahannock News, I suggest Mr. Frazier learn to “read lips” himself. His favorite candidate, Mr. Katzen, is very adept in speaking out of both sides of his mouth.
Mr. Katzen says he is in favor of education but was willing to cut funds for education. He says he is in favor of the environment but is willing to protect the polluters by reducing environmental controls.
He supposedly wants to reduce mandates forced on communities by the state legislators, but he voted in favor of forcing rural counties to accept trailers in agricultural zoning districts.
We are fortunate to have a candidate of the caliber of Sue Scheer. She tells it like it is, and she will vote for the benefit of Rappahannock County in the areas of education and preservation of our environment.
