■ The Shenandoah Area Council, Boy Scouts of American announces it^ 17th annual Golf Tournament to be hpld on Friday, Sept. 29 at Carper’s Valley Golf Club in Winchester.
Morning tee off is 8 a.m. and the afternoon tee off is 1 p.m. Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. . Prizes will be given for longest drive and closest to the pin. Doretha Floward Butler received a master’s degree in Educational Administration from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg in July, 1995. J .She is currently teaching sixth gr^de at the Ralls Byrd Elementary School in James City County. , Miss Butler is a 1987 graduate of RQHS and a 1991 graduate of Virginia Tech. She is the daughter of Dorothy C. Butler of Sperryville and the late Howard Henry Butler.
