Harold Hook
Mr. Harold (Eric) Hook of Boston, Massachusetts, died on Wednesday, Aug. 23 at his residence.
Survivors include his parents, Harold and Gwen Hook of Culpeper; two sisters, Melinda Hook of Seattle, Washington and Amanda Hook of Scrabble; his maternal grandparents, Madge and Lee Hendrex of Greeneville, Tennessee and his paternal grandmother, Eleanor L. Stuard of Towson, Md.
Funeral services and interment will be private at a later date.

Laura Fidler
Laura Virginia Fidler, 81, of Chester Gap died Friday, Aug. 25 at the Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal.
Funeral services were held at the Flint Hill Pentecostal Church on Tuesday, Aug. 29 with the Rev. Jack Campbell officiating:
Interment was in Willis Chapel Cemetery at Huntly.
Mrs. Fidler was born April 21, 1914, in Fauquier County, the daughter of the late John and Laura Virginia Clegg Elkins, II.
She was predeceased by her husband, Burke Fidler.
