On a whirlwind tour through the county last Thursday, Anthony Franklin Moody, 37, of Luray, smashed the windows on several vehicles in order to steal valuables from inside.
Driving a Isuzu Trooper stolen from a Metro parking j lot at Dunn Loring in Northern Virginia, Mr. Moody’s first stop was at Massie’s Comer around 8 a.m. There he broke windows bn vehicles belonging to J.C. Welch, Bobby Baldwin, and Roger Pritchett. He took nothing from these vehicles, and continued on to the parking lot at the Faith Mountain Company.
A call came into the Sheriffs Office at 8:27 a.m. that a man driving an Isuzu Trooper was seen walking away from a vehicle where the wiridow had been smashed. That vehicle was parked in the Faith Mountain parking lot on U.S. 211 and belongs to Natasha White. Her backpack with a wallet, a checkbook and other items were taken.
Sheriff Settle said that he responded to the Faith Mountain call, and put out calls to have other law
