The community was saddened to hear of the death of Mrs. Katherine Weakley. Our condolences to her sister, Mrs. Margaret Carroll of Falls Church and Mr. and Mrs. Joel Daczewitz and family in Woodville.
Friday overnight guests of Walter and Susan Longyear and daughter, Casey at Fairlea were Mr. and Mrs. George Longyear of New Haven, Conn., Erica Longyear and Kim Longyear of Wallingford, Conn. Saturday all motored to Williamsburg and were joined by Mr. and Mrs. Rollo Stovall and Bill Stovall of Sarasoto, Florida, Mrs. Lesley Secrest and Joe Fourt of Boston, Mass. Sunday, Mother’s Day they attended the graduation of Amy Longyear at William and Mary College in Williamsburg. Susan said that was the best Mother’s Day present she ever received.
