The Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection’s Natural History Day Camp is offering specialized courses for older campers from June 24 to 28 at Singing Creek in Sperryville.
This intensive week is designed for youngsters who wish to pursue a subject in depth with a professional natural history instructor. It is a unique and valuable opportunity for those with an interest in science or environmental studies.
We are delighted to have. the nationally known bird photographer, teacher and eminent naturalist John Trott join us this summer to teach a course entitled, “Bird Observations.” Participants will conduct a breeding bird census of the camp environs, searching for -nests, flidglings and other signs of residency.
